Turn Flow and Discarding
Review draw, arrange, discard, call windows, interruptions, and hand endings.
Remember
East starts the play phase.
After the deal, East makes the first discard. Normal order continues if no one calls.
Remember
A turn has four stages.
Draw, arrange, discard, then pause for the call window.
Remember
Do not draw early.
Wait until the previous discard is clearly released and the call window has passed.
Remember
Discards must be clear.
Place one tile face up in the river where everyone can see it.
Remember
Calls interrupt order.
A caller exposes the set, then discards. Play continues from the caller.
Remember
Hands end by win or draw.
Someone wins, or the live wall runs out with no winner.
Turn rhythm
Draw, arrange, discard, pause.
Keep that rhythm and the table stays readable.
