Calls: Chow, Pung, Kong, and Win

Review call legality, kongs, wins, priority, and call turn flow.

Remember

Only the latest discard can be called.

Calls are clear, immediate claims on the most recent discard.

Remember

Chow and Pung are different.

Chow is sequence-from-left. Pung is triplet-from-anyone.

Remember

Kongs need declaration.

Concealed, added, and big exposed kongs all need a clear table declaration and supplement draw.

Remember

Wins can come from draw or discard.

Self-draw uses your own draw. Win on discard uses another player’s tile.

Remember

Priority resolves conflicts.

Win outranks Pung/Kong, and Pung/Kong outrank Chow.

Remember

Calls move the turn.

After a call, the caller exposes the set and discards immediately.
