Drawn Hands

Understand what happens when the wall runs out.

Concept

A draw means the wall ran out

A drawn hand happens when the final live-wall tile is drawn and discarded with no win player having declared a win. No one wins that hand.

In the rules used in this course, the dealer does not continue (i.e. remain the dealer) on a draw. Social tables may vary, so confirm house rules when you play elsewhere.

Rule in plain English

Wall runs out, no winner, hand is drawn

For this course, a draw moves the table forward and dealer does not continue.
