Wind Cycles and Rounds

Track round wind across the table.

Concept

Hands build into rounds, which are named after the four winds

A full game is organized by dealer movement and round winds. Each player gets chances to be dealer.

When the dealer position cycles back to the original dealer, a "wind cycle" is complete. Round winds, starting with East, then South, then West, then North, provide the larger match structure of rounds of play.

Rule in plain English

Hands combine into wind cycles; cycles combine into rounds

Seat wind and round wind can both matter for scoring.
